Although the short board is much quieter than a standard wiring harness, the long board is even more resistant to hum and noise. It is virtually silent - even with an iPhone and computer screen close by.
As with the short board, the long board’s blend control dials the bridge pickup into other pickup combinations adding a beautiful 3D brightness that is missing from other Strats. This feature is even more important with this set. Having the master tone control allows warmer bridge pickup tones, to almost humbucker warmth - great for coaxing jazz-like tones out of a Strat style guitar.
